Spiced Almond Butter with Honey & Sea Salt

Today’s recipe is super easy, great for snacking, and is the perfect healthy alternative to processed spreads, my Spiced Almond Butter with Sea Salt and Honey.

This spread is delicious on toast or fruit (like sliced apple or pear), or even on its own straight from the jar. It’s so good I often eat it by the spoonful (I may just be doing this right now). ☺

Buckwheat Banana Bread with Poached Quinces & Mascarpone

I LOVE poached fruit, especially during the cooler months of the year. Last week while I was out shopping at my local fruit market, I found some beautiful golden quinces and decided to bring them home to poach. I usually stick to poaching pears or stone fruit, but this time I thought I’d change things up.

In today’s recipe, I have teamed the poached quinces with a deliciously dense and nutty buckwheat banana bread. The flavours work well together; earthy banana bread, sweet and smooth mascarpone, and spiced poached quinces, with a sprinkling of pistachios-so delish!

Zucchini & Tomato Salsa with Tortilla Chips

This week's recipe is a delicious vegetarian Zucchini and Tomato Salsa served with Guacamole and Tortilla Chips.

Now, we all know I love sharing meals while enjoying great company, and this recipe is a great sharing dish, the perfect addition to your next Mexican Fiesta or dinner party, lunch, etc.

We had this the other night as our main meal (while testing), but this dish would work better served as a starter to share or as a side.
